Glamour! I cannot escape it. It all started becoming very evident recently starting at the DesignEX Champagne Breakfast our Style Team attended (juice please, too early for bubbles).

Everywhere I turn things are shining, glittering and catching my eye. From metallic paints, crystal range hoods to shiny gold shower heads. And it’s not just for the mafia. Luxury is where it’s at and no more so than the stories we’re working on at the moment. Enter: Paul Senior Stylist. There was enough “Glam” for the two of us not to squabble over who saw what first and whose story needed it most…

Have a look at my happy snaps from my shoot last week for the shopping pages. You can see our assistant Jess spent some quality time with her cute polishing gloves on as there was many a shiny surface that needed attention. The main shot features the very glamorous black and gold striped chest of drawers that I'm toying with the idea of buying for my own bedroom. I'm learning that bling works as well in the home as it does on your fingers.
