Entertaining Promotion Terms and Conditions

BELLE, GOURMET TRAVELLER, GOURMET TRAVELLER WINE AND HOUSE & GARDEN PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry.

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

3. To enter, email entertaining@acpmagazines.com.au with your name, address and contact number, and tell us in 25 words or less why you love entertaining.

4. Participants must submit, in full, all mandatory elements of the promotion entry form in order for their entry to be valid.

5. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the date of printing and the date the prize is claimed. Prize value mentioned is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing.

6. The promotion commences 10:00am, AEST 02 November 2009, and closes at 00:01am, AEST 01 February 2010. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges. Judging will begin on 08 February 2010 at 11am at the judges' premises. The winner will be notified by mail using contact details provided in their entry.

7. The best entry as deemed by the judges will win a prize package, total prize value of $1521.83.

8. The major prize package includes:

9. No more than 20 litres of alcohol will be won by New South Wales residents. Once 20 litres of alcohol has been won by New South Wales residents, cash will be awarded in lieu of the remaining alcohol prize.

10. No alcohol can be won by Northern Territory resident, cash will be awarded in lieu of the alcohol prize.

11. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au/publications/synopses/ds10syn.htm. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee's liquor serving policy.

12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential losses) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained by the winner of a prize or any other person or otherwise suffered or sustained in connection with participating in this competition, as a result of taking or making use of any prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter or any person associated with any of them, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

13. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Notice
