What a day

Friday was a busy day.

From professional to party - all in one day.

I was up with the Kookaburras and on my way out to the Good Food Affare at Castle Hill Showground first off to set up and prepare for the presentation we were doing to showcase Domayne’s product for alfresco dining and Christmas lunch. You know just the usual, lots of pretty glasses, candles, flowers, a few do- it- yourself ideas and the other usual things like products that you’re expecting to turn up not being there, not even the table I based the Christmas lunch scheme around…. but the show must go on and I made the most of what was there - there’s nothing like a little bit of improvisation. I nervously babbled a few points about the tables in between the more professional presentation our editor Lisa and our style director Janet were doing… why is it that I don’t quite know what is coming out of my mouth when I start to speak publicly? If practice makes perfect, then I need a lot more practice. BUT most importantly, the table settings looked fabulous.

Back to the office to frock up for our ACP Christmas party that was held at IVY – a wig party. What a sensation, our trip to Paddy’s Markets in search of the perfect wigs really paid off – it was one hilarious night. Champagne, laughter, dancing, more pointing and laughing, lots of photos, mini burgers and all of a sudden it was time to take myself home to bed. It was time to take off the Malibu Barbie wig and get back to reality. What a long day.
